On Saturday, March 13, 2010, Our Children’s Rehab Center, Inc., a non-profit therapy clinic, and Our Children’s Academy, a Pre-K thru 5th grade school, both for special needs children, will host “St. Paddy’s Day Feast and Auction”, our annual gala fundraiser. We would appreciate a donation of items and/or services to our auction. We are asking for donations in a variety of categories including memorabilia, merchandise, tickets, gifts, services, activities, etc. You will receive a copy of our donation form and a thank-you letter with our tax exempt information. Your accountant will have the necessary information to claim a charitable contribution for your 2010 tax return. Your donations will be auctioned and the proceeds will benefit Polk County’s developmentally and medically challenged children in many ways. Our Children’s Academy and Our Children’s Rehab provide these children with therapy to help them sit, walk, hear, swallow simple foods, pay attention so they can learn, cope with noise in their environment, attend to academics, control their behavior and communicate verbally and/or non-verbally. Our hope is for Our Children to lead normal, happy, productive and independent lives. Your donation to the St Paddy’s Day Auction will provide the funds necessary for Our Children’s Rehab and Our Children’s Academy to continue in its mission in teaming up highly qualified teachers, physical, occupational and speech language therapists to achieve the educational and life goals of Our Children and their families. If you or your business would like to help us with our auction, you may mail or drop off your donation to the address above or call our office and we will arrange to pick it up. |
